On Elba Residence Le Ginestre is in the middle of Le Picchiaie, which is a great park made of live oaks, cork oaks and deep green pines on a height in the green hearth of the biggest Tuscan island.

Le Picchiaie takes its name by the woodpecker (il picchio), a bird that was common to see and hear in this wood.

In Le Picchiaie the growing nature frames an unique panorama: it is in front of Portoferraio gulf and on the right you can admire Volterraio castle, suggestive historical heritage.

The flats:

Situated in a green environment inside a wonderful park of Mediterranean vegetation, they are far from traffic and any noise source (800 meters from the main street).

They offer peace and tranquillity and are the ideal solution for relaxing holiday lovers. From there you can enjoy a breath-taking panorama over Portoferraio gulf or over the surrounding countryside.

The apartments are situated close to the Relais delle Picchiaie where, with the Relais Card, it is possibile to use the wellness centre, with sauna, turkish bath, a small gym, emotional shower, relaxing small beds, solarium on the pool board, pool with jacuzzi.

Flats are simply furnished and have Tv color and telephone.

Flats 2-beds one-bedroom flats: living room with kitchenette, twin or double bed, bathroom with tub or shower, balcony or patio, air conditioning.
3/4 beds One-bedroom flats: living room with kitchenette, twin bed, bunkbed in a niche, bathroom with shower, patio giving entrance to the flat, air conditioning.
4 beds Two-bedrooms flat: living room with kitchenette, twin couch-bed, double/twin bedroom, toilet with shower, patio or equipped garden. A baby bed is addable upon request.

How to reach Residence Le Ginestre:

By car:

From the north, take highway A12 to Rosignano; follow the S.G.C. towards Rome until you reach the exit to Piombino.
From the south, take Highway Roma Civitavecchia; follow the S.G.C. towards Livorno until you reache the exit to Piombino.
From Piombino take the ferry to Portoferraio (it will take 60 minutes).
From Portoferraio 5 km towards Porto Azzurro. Reach Relais delle Picchiaie for the check in

By plane:

You can reach Marina di Campo airport (Isle of Elba) from many italian and european cities. The airport is circa 15 km far from Le Picchiaie towards Portoferraio;
From Pisa international airport there is a shuttle to Le Picchiaie (upon request and booking).
